Tools: Drill Bits and Pin Vise

Tools are important as this can spruce up you minis or help you during their assembly stage.

Drill Bits and Pin Vise are one of such tools.

Drill bits vary in sizes ranging from 0.1 mm to 3.2 mm or even larger. The bits alone can drill through plastic or pewter but you will encounter difficulty in doing so. Which is why it is very important that you also purchase a pin vise.

Now Pin vises often can either hold only the small bits or only the large bits, but there are pin vises who can hold from the smallest to the largest. Such as one shown below which contain different sets of holes to fit the sizes of the bits that you have.

Now what good does having such tools do? This can be used in Pinning parts of a miniature or a miniature to the base and bringing realistic effects to the miniatures. Bringing realistic effects can be drilling holes in the sides of the tanks to mimic shell blasts or armour being punctured, drilling holes in the miniatures guns and many more.
